Sodium Silicate Liquid High Purity Water Glass
Sodium Silicate (Na₂SiO₃) is a colorless to light gray, water-soluble compound formed by the fusion of silica (SiO₂) and sodium carbonate (Na₂CO₃) at high temperatures. It is available as a liquid solution or in powder/granular form, often referred to as liquid glass for its transparent, viscous appearance when dissolved.
Due to its strong alkaline nature, excellent adhesive and binding properties, and ability to form silica gel, Sodium Silicate is widely utilized in:
Production of silicic acid and fillers
Soil stabilization
Flotation of iron ore and coal
Production of pulp, paper, and cardboard
Slurry liquefaction in the ceramics industry
Anti-acid mastics and refractory bonding agents
Setting accelerator for wet-sprayed concrete
Water treatment
Production of grinding wheels
